Im going to add a torque converter. Something like 2400 or so. So, it will be better off the line. I love it as a highway car. But I just want a little more get up and go from 0mph!

on my Mark VII. A few questions from the more experienced Mark VII driviers.Remember I am still a new Mark driver. How responsive should I expect my '85 Mark VII off the line? It seems to start up slow. Top end It has plenty of power not like my Mark VIII but she will get up and go. But it doesn't respond as quickly. What should I be expecting as to off the line power, and on the fly acceleration? Also as the speed only goes to 85 mph. What top end on these? I don't plan on driving this car hard as I want to make it last! but it's nice to know what to expect. Know her limits. |
