Broken Black plastic peice that connects window to track ?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

OK I finally got the door off and it wasnt that spacer like i hoped instead its a black peice of plastic that holds the glass onto the track. I called ford and they said that I would have to buy the whole regulator to get it. Have any of you had this problem? can anyone help me out there.. they also said 125.00 for just the reg. that seems kinda steep. I thought I read somewhere on here its between 35-50..

Are you talking about the piece that's attached (part of) to the lower edge of the window? If so, you don't buy the regulator, you buy the window. I tried re-attaching it with some high strength urethane once and it didn't hold for long. I ended up buying a new window. This was on a different Ford vehicle.
