The ONLY way your going to get all the air out of the system, is to use the right tool. What will happen is that the brakes will work o.k. until you least expect a problem. In other words, when you make a panic stop one day the pedal with go to the floor.
The actual tool you need is the adaptor that connects the wiring harness of the car to a Ford breakout box. If all you need to do is bleed the system after replacing a hard part, you simply put the adaptor on end of the harness and switch it from "harness" to "bleed". Then hit the button. Unfortunately, the dealer is probably going to be the only one with this adaptor. Good luck. |
