LOL That is Correct!! Sorry watching a movie some people might know where it is from

Posted by: watchflair

hmmmm....... Chrome!!!! I love it lol!! It would blind you when driving in the sun though

Posted by: Msilva954

NOOOOOOOOOOO.....you guys are all wrong.....lol.....if you new it was an Audi A8....you would then realize that it is all "Aluminum". Its the same for the Jaguar XJ8.

Posted by: Sifrino3

Where can I get that done?

Posted by: pepperman

that kind of finish reminds me of a DeLorean.

Posted by: Joeychgo

get the feeling those arabs have a little too much money?

IN the meantime we pay how much for gas??

Posted by: GrayGhost1

Actually it's a new chrome painting process. It is applies just like a base coat/clear coat system. It is designed to simulate actual chrome with around 95-99% chrome like appearance.

Posted by: crw13755

where can I get that done & who can do it?

Several places sell the paint such as:

The Alsa Corporation

Gold Touch Inc.

The system goes on just like a basecoat/clearcoat process but the materials are about 5 times the cost. Cool stuff but expensive.

Yea, very illegal. Think about it. Common sense says it'll blind anyone who sees it in the daylight. Imagine chrome rims times 100. Yowzers!

Posted by: crazyman

I've always wanted something that looked like a Hotwheel!

Posted by: momentum57

Msilva954 is correct it is all aluminum

Like a silver bullet. It would be cool to start laying the candy over it,that would look like an original Hot Wheels finish.

Posted by: glanga

That car was done by a German tuning company called Moteren Technik Meyer.

This is the car's official link on the website.

I've seen a Benz driving around here with that paint.

Posted by: PatrickSimmons

You can get that paint almost everywhere now-a-days. There are a couple of Chevy Bubbles up this way with that paintjob. Looks cool but the vehicles it was own just threw it all off.
