The other night me and 3 of my friends were diving my stock 97 Lincoln Mark8. I haven't had it long i was showing my friends what it had, because they were giving me a hard time about it being a grandpa's car. Then I pull up beside this guy in a 96 Pontiac firebird with a 3.8L 5 speed. I rev my engine he looks over and laugh's at me and then he revs his. We were both turning left he was in the left lane and i was in the right. The light turns green and we take off. Of course he has the advantage by being on the inside. He is about a car length ahead of me by the time we are going straight. he stays about the same distance ahead until i hit 4th gear and i pass him with no problem and i end up beating him by three car lengths. I can't believe it. My friends have not downed my "Granpa's" car ever since.

Did he laugh after you beat him? A real man would have asked you to pull over and had check out your Mark!!

I love stories like this. I blew out a stupid little souped up ricer on the highway the other day. He had a stupid spoiler and stupid taillights and was weaving in and out of traffic like he was AJ Foyt. He never saw me come up on his left until I whooooshed past him.

We destroyed a Newer civic driver that was acting like michael andretti on crack, on the way home from the meet. 3rd gear at 80MPH puts her right in the sweet spot with stock gears. Once I got even with him to let him know I'm game, he hit the throttle at the same time I did. The front end on the mark shot to the air......2,000 rpm's later...powershift to 4th and at this time he was around 5 cars back and falling FAST. Almost top out 4th, but the speed limiter ruined all hopes of complete domination but he never tried to pass me again the whole way home.

Lots of fun.

I love catching people off guard. They be thinkin oh its a lincoln BAM they left in the smoke its so awsome. I wish I could find more people to run with. This one ricer I killed awhile back said his civic ran 15 sec flat and I just put him to shame my mark is all stock.

I think most of my friends have learned that I do not drive a "grandpa car".

I like racing ricers that have their girl in the car. Nothing is better than watching the girl start to laugh.

it's my senior year and i need to race some people and kick some ass with my mark. because everyone at school says it's a grandpa's car. the biggest diss on my mark is my boss is 50 and calls it an old people's car. i said "yeah maybe if i park in front it'll atract you a date, better than your grocery getter yukon at the grocery store." he got so pissed he walked outside and hasn't said anything since.

I pulled up to a honda accord V6 Vtech with all the rice accessories, i gassed it a bit and then he pulls next to me and does a kickdown and i could tell he had it to the floor because it was sooooo loud! So i nail the gas about half throttle and started gaining as soon as i got next to him i punched it and easily pulled ahead. When he got next to me at a light he asked "what you got in that thing" I replied " i dont know its my grampa's car"

No after we raced he kept on going straight and me and my friends went to go get something to eat and he got pulled over not to far down the road.

And we started laughing our a$$'s off.

Also i was wandering, should i buy the superchips micro tuner or the jet chip power module.
