Dash LEDS ?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Anyone switch out stock dash lights with LED? Now that I have my
fender (thanks to Scott9050) and chrome directionals on (thanks to Evilally) and super 40's with scavenger pipe (thanks to magna flow and meineke) I'm thinking of changing the boring green interior lights to cool blue LEDS,I was wondering if anyone has done it and how many LEDS I'm actually going to need? Thanks for everything guys.

Sounds like an interesting idea, but as far as i know, the lights behind the dashboard are clear. What makes them glow green is the gauges face/plastic piece itself.

Damn, I never thought to look. If that's the case, there goes another semi-good idea. Thanks.

Well, if the color comes from the face/ plastic piece, there's still hope.
Read this article from CoolCats for some ideas. Now although it's somewhat unrelated, the idea is the same in theory. If you can change the color of the plastic, then you can achieve the look you'd like. BTW, I did that mod to my old Cougar and it looked bad ass!!!
