does anyone know whats up with this

ok my lincoln is broke down at tha moment..

so i go out and i take tha battery out cuz it needs to be charged, before i do this i lock'd all my doors and took tha battery out, and shut tha hood, next day i go out, my key will no longer open either lock on my two front door..

does it have to have power for tha key to work as well?
how can i brake into tha hood?

What year?

Normally You should be able to turn the key w/o the battery in place

can you take the grille off and somehow open it from there? or maybe just jimmy a window.

The grill is removeable. It pops out, but be careful.

You dont need power to open the (tha) doors.
