Tie rod?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I just found out I need new upper control arms for both sides. I just had the pass. control arm replaced three years ago. Could it be bad already?

Also, anyone know where I can get a new tie rod for the pass. side cheap?

I think Rock Auto has some cheap MOOGS.

BTW, this is what Ken Towery Firestone said after I brought the car in. I have a major rattle and vibe when braking, coming from the right side, plus vibes over 75 mph. I took it there for an alignment, and they said I needed to replace those parts b/f they would align the wheels.

I'm not sure I believe them on the control arm, b/c it is only 3 yrs old.

Anyone know where to find instructions on doing tie rods?

I examined the end links myself, when I did coil conversion. Matter of fact, I replaced one of them myself.

are the end links difficult to replace? what tools are needed?
