I am new to this message board and happened to stumble upon this while scouring the internet in search of an answer to my car issue.
Anyways, I have a 2000 LTC that doesn't make the "honk" sound when locking the doors with the keyless entry. It gives me the impression that the anti-theft system is not working. The blinking function on the PAT system seems to be working according to the manual, except one time I noticed it blinking irregularly after starting.
Not really sure what to do. Let me know if you have had this problem or any ideas to diagnose/troubleshoot this.
Thanks!!

does the horn honk when you unlock?

you have to program for the honk. It should be in your manual. From the looks of it your system is running fine.

it might be disabled...you can arm it back...just read your manual...

Thanks guys!! Checked the manual out and reprogrammed the horn honk. It works well now and at least I'll think the alarm system is working on the TC.
