I have some chrome rims on the way for my LS, and i have heard that windex works well to give a nice shine, but will real car window cleaners work too. and what is the best product to clean the interior of the windows, or maybe the best technique for it?

The only thing about windex is that it will strip off any protectant wax or sealant you may have on the wheels. I use Wheel Wax on my chrome wheels and it really looks great. Not to mention that Wheel Wax claims that it will repel brake dust. You can check it out here:
As for cleaning windows I use just plain old soapy water in a sprayer. The trick is to not clean your windows in the direct sunlight. They will streak like crazy. You need to clean them when they are cool.
