What you want to do is roll that switch down to disengage the Auto Lamp.....the farther it is rolled up the longer the lights will stay on after shutting the car down. If you roll it all the way down it will click (sorta, you will feel it not hear it) and that shuts the Auto Lamps off. As far as your CEL (check engine light) it might be the O2 sensors that are causing a lean condition when you go up a hill. They are relatively cheap to replace so it might not be a bad idea to change them. That might help. ![]() |
