These are just about the same vids as I once posted before only my exhaust is on now and I have the correct speedo gear, I need to get a digi camcorder so I can take better different vids but for now this will have to do.
I have a question for you guys, just about every time I get on the car as you can se ein the vids, once it shifts into 3rd, the rpm's are at like 4400 and it hesitates a lil, like the acceleration pauses a lil bit and then climbs again. whats up with that, could that be the shift kit? did my transmission shop install it wrong? they said it was the first time they had seen that kind of shift kit, but they're used to doing racing transmissions. I don't think its normal but I can't remember my car before I had my tranny done. anyways enjoy these are about 4-5 megs each

on your second vid, did you manually shifted? and do have mods on your car. When mine shifts onto 3rd, It starts out at 4100 but i let the gas pedal go.

Check out my profile for mods... no I did not manually shift, I will never manually shift again. my engine blew when I was manually shifting( shifted at 6 grand, I didn't over-rev it) so I will never do it again. I did however have the o/d off and turned it back on... thats what you saw.

Thanks, I want to take my car to the track so bad.. I wanna get into the 13's so hopefully by the end of the summer early fall that should happen.

About 3-4 weeks ago I took off the ls rims( can't afford new rear tires now, the metal belt started showing... also need an alignment from lowering it) and put back on the stock 16inch chrome directionals... kinda hate the way they look but oh well... anyways the chirp into second is very loud now, I mean I used to chirp with the ls rims, but now I chirp as low as 3500rpm. I think I'll keep these rims and forget about the ls rims till I can either afford the billet or cobra rims... I'll probally go for the billet since I've wanted them for the longest time just couldn't afford them.

does anyone have any input on whyt the car seems to slow down at around 4-4500rpms in 3rd?

yea it is weird and it drives me nuts.

the headers are kooks and I think I paid like 6-700 for them

my mark doesnt chirp

but the alternator went out out yesterday (replaced myself) ans my dad gave me the camaro to drive and it chirped

My car used to do the same thing when I didn't have a chip. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with your tune.
