Just wanted to say it was great knowing you guys and most people were a GREAT help here, others were constantly negative about stuff. I traded in the LS today for a 2002 Audi S4 6 speed Twin Turbo.

$ for $ Turbo cars are the best bang for the buck to upgrade and get massive power. Upgrading the LS to that potential will be too costly even when the charger does come out and the reliability of the car even being stock is horrible. Plus there is no manual trans available for the V8.

Thanks again guys!

You should be wearing a big red "A" on your chest. Just kidding! Good luck with the car. My buddy has an Audi RS6 and it is an amazing automobile!

I will be selling my SCT Flasher too, I have an 02 V8 Sport with PCM code FZG0 that it will work on.

Ray,

Sorry to hear that you traded the LS. Sometimes you get a car that is trouble free and some are not. However, enjoy your Audi and keep in touch. Just because you got an Audi doesn't mean you can't hang around here from time to time.

Thanks Gray!

The S4 may eventually go to the wife and I may look into the LS again once a charger or more powerful motor becomes available. I loved it, but it was a headache to have it in the shop for simple engineering over-sights. Coils, Leaky valve cover gaskets that are still leaking after being replaced twice with only 48,000 miles. But then again, nothing is perfect.

The S4 stock runs a 13.5 and with simple PCM upgrades (running more boost) will run close to the 12's. Those are numbers I like to see.

how much for the flasher

Congrats on the new purchase. I thought about a turbo Audi also, but I read that Audi reliability is poor also. You need to let us know how it compares to the LS. You are right about the turbo cars. You can get so much for so little!
