replaced my water pump, thermostat, coolent and flushed the whole system for 20 min. still running warm, not as high as before but it still gets up to the "o" on normal. any ideas what else it could be? i know the gauge is right when i open the hood alot of heat is comming off of the engine.

i get up above R sometimes, I don't worry about that - i don't think you should be too worried about O, especially in florida.

well im in minnesota now, and it gets to o on a 70 degree day, im going to replace the radator and see if that works.

I replaced my radiator, it had 120,000 miles on it. It brought the temp down one full letter plus.

Would installing a tranny cooler achieve the same result, since it is taking pressure off the radiator?

MarkVIIIedrea, run a 2003 Cobra radiator. Twice as thick as stock and an all aluminum structure. ModPWR, Jeremi, is using it along with a few others. Fit's almost flush, we all know a LITTLE modin' is needed in these cars. I will be putting one in , in a month or so. Along with a nice flush fit tranny cooler.

my car runs at M-A range all day no matter how hot it is .

I'm usually in the middle of R - M.

New radiator, trans cooler, and 180 Tstat on the way.

It's maintence time and the list continues... Like always.
