Gas tank in back......

how do you guys like having the gas tanks in the back? I saw a fleetwood hearse the other day and the tank was on the driver side...... but i guess they had to do it that way.

I like rear fill gas tanks. I think "stealth" behind the license plate is neat, and also compliments the body lines since there is no filler door on one side of the car.

Also the Fleetwoods have a locking mechanism that prevents the plate from folding down for security reasons.

I agree with BCs71. I like having my gas filler in the rear plus you don't have to worry about which side the filler is on when you pull up to the pumps so that's real convenient.

thats true, but then dont you have to pull forward more to reach it? what if someones on the other one.
