switch/sending unit question?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I was replacing the sway bar end links (thanks MAX), when I notice what looked to be an oil leak. Some type of oil all over under the driverside of the car. As I inspected closer noticed that there is a sending unit of some sort on the rack and pinion, next to the oil filter, leaking power steering fluid out of the electrical connection. Anyone know what that sending unit or switch is called so I can get a price quote? I will take pics if I have to.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not really sure on this one, but I know many vehicles have a pressure switch for the power steering system that is used by the ECM. But again, I don't know if the LS has it. On the V6 model maybe?

Here are a couple of pics of that switch. Let me know what you think.

That is definitely the power steering pressure switch. That shouldn't be very expensive to change.
