Picnic and Cruise

August 13th, 2005 - We had a Blast! Thank you all for coming!

WOW - What a great day! To the left you see a pic of only
HALF of the people at the picnic. The day started out a little
rainy, but cleared up nicely and gave us great weather! The
setting was beautiful and lush, and private. Monstermark was
kind enough to be our 'Grill Man' and BBQd some wicked
Ribs. 94M5 showed off his 5-Speed Mark VIII conversion and
also helped others with repairs on their cars. We even had some
Classic Cadillacs including a 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Barritz, a
1970 Cadillac Coupe Deville and a 1949 Cadillac Sedan! These
cars were absolutely Beautiful!

Then, after the picnic, we rolled into DownTown Lombard
and joined the Cruise Night. Many of you will enjoy knowing
that we took the spots usually occupied by the Chevy Camero guys!
(hee hee) On this cruise night we were the most popular section
of the cruise and had a constant stream of spectators. I was even
challenged to race one of the camero guys!

All in all it was a great time!
