Just like the front ball joints, which Lincoln/Ford say can't be replaced (already replaced them), my shop manuals have nothing for the rear ball joints. Does anyone have a video or knowledge of the removal? They are still functional, but the boots are cracked and I was told that they are the same ball joints as the front, so I bought a set of OEM ball joints for the job...

Yes I replaced mine years ago. I don't have the receipts anymore since I don't have the car. IIRC these are the ones I used https://www.moog-suspension-parts.com/moog-k500208
They are not the same as the front.
Oh, they are DEFINITELY the same ball joint. The rear ball joint # by Moog cross references several times. I found this from the number you gave me. All of those numbers cross to Motorcraft MCS104217 XF1Z-3V050-AA, which I used on the front also.
Cross Reference Part Numbers for Moog K500208
12823, 2601856, 45D10109, 500-1176, 610.61036, 6F1Z4A013A, FA2490E, JBJ470, K8687, MK8687, PK8687, RK8687

I already know that the ball joints would fit. That wasn't my question in the post. I wanted to know if anyone had knowledge of the removal and installation of the rear.. I alreadsy did the front suspension. It was a decent sized job.. I used OEM on everything.
